Privacy policy
Chaio collects as little as it can. Signing in uses only your Google name, email address and profile picture.
Who we are
Chaio is a family of personal tools run by Chad Dahlgren. This policy covers chaio.app and every Chaio app.
Signing in
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. That is all we ask Google for, and we use it only to sign you in, keep you signed in and show which account you are using.
Apps that connect to Gmail
Some apps, like Mailbox and Receipts, can connect to your Gmail if you choose. That data is used only to run those apps for you. It is stored with our hosting providers, may be processed by AI services to sort mail or read receipts, and is never sold or used for ads.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your information.
- Show ads or use your information for advertising.
- Run analytics or tracking scripts.
Who handles your data
Chaio runs on service providers that host the apps and store data for us, such as Cloudflare and Neon, and AI services used by apps you connect. They handle your data only to run Chaio. We share it with no one else unless the law requires it.
Google user data
Chaio’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Deleting your data
We keep your information while you have a Chaio account. To have it deleted, email [email protected] and we will delete it within 30 days.
You can also remove Chaio’s access at any time from your Google Account.
